This is the location of Toshimagaoka Girls’ High School. It is a very good Girls’ High School in the middle of Ikebukuro on Midori Avenue, Green Avenue, between all the high-rise buildings and right along the expressway. Triple glazing means that the classrooms are very quiet – no road noise. The swimming pool is on the roof. The students use the staircases to reach classrooms on different levels. (One very practical way to stay fit.) The school is beautifully organised and very clean. Classrooms are divided over eight levels. Most students come to school by subway and trains. Some students come on the bullettrain all the way from Saitama Prefecture.
